Chiropractor
Brad Cudnik D.C.
Chiropractic allowed me to run again! Back in 1981, I was a college student and I loved long distance running. I wasn’t very fast, but running was a great source of joy and helped me survive the high stress of school. I suddenly developed severe hip pain and right leg pain.
I couldn’t even run around the block. My doctor prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers. I even spent hundreds of dollars on custom shoe supports, but nothing was helping! I was devastated and scared that my running days were over for good. But there’s more.
A friend of mine convinced me to give a chiropractor a try. The chiropractor did an exam, took some films, and then “adjusted” my spine. The adjustment didn’t hurt, it actually felt good. I got relief, and I could run again. That’s when I told my family and friends I was changing careers and heading for chiropractic school myself. They said it was a “fool stunt,” that I was crazy to spend the time and money. But, I never looked back. It was the best decision I ever made!
Life After Chiropractic College
I graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1986, and promptly moved back to Texas (I was born and raised in Houston, TX.) and opened Pecan Valley Chiropractic. I have additional training in spinal injury and trauma, postgraduate certification in Chiropractic Rehabilitation, and I am a designated doctor for Texas Workers Compensation.
I have written numerous articles, and am the author of several books including “What You Should Know before Going to a Chiropractor”, and have taught medical students and therapists as far away as Ethiopia. I am a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.
On a personal note, I am happily married and have three beautiful children. I still love running (not so long distance anymore), golf and other physical exercise. I enjoy and love what I do for a living and have been blessed to be part of so many people’s lives. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly at (210) 359-9100. I would be happy to talk to you any time, and look forward to meeting you.

Chiropractic was in my family! I was born in Kingsville, TX and grew up in the valley, so Texas is part of my heart and soul and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! I am a fourth generation chiropractor…. My Great-grandfather, Grandfather, and Aunt were chiropractors and I got my first adjustment when I was four hours old.
I have seen and experienced miracles of chiropractic my entire life and I knew someday I would pass that gift on and become a chiropractor as well.I received my Exercise Science Degree from Hardin Simmons University, and then attended Parker College of Chiropractic. In January of 2003 my dream finally came true and I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic.
A Balanced Lifestyle
I was recently married in January 2010, and my wife Suzanne and I love San Antonio and look forward to living here and becoming part of the community.
Away from the office, I am an avid sportsman and love hunting and all outdoor activities. I exercise regularly and occasionally do a triathlon (If I have the time).
It is my honor to be a chiropractor and join at Pecan Valley Chiropractic. My goal for you is to have the same health benefit and high quality of life that chiropractic has given me. I look forward to meeting and serving you in the future. Give our Pecan Valley Chiropractic office a call, or send me an email and let’s arrange a time to explore your options.
